NOTE
• The EPB can also be applied when the
engine start/stop button is in the “OFF”
position.
• After the car is parked steady, the EPB
should be applied first.
• When applying the EPB, operating noise
can be heard, which is normal.
• If there is a trailer or during parking on a
steep slope, after the first application of
EPB, the EPB button can be pulled up
again to ensure the maximum braking
effect.
• On a slope with a gradient of 17% to 30%,
in 5 minutes after the EPB is applied for the
first time, it will be applied again. At this
time, operating noise can be heard, which
is normal.
WARNING
• The EPB must be applied when parking.
• When the car is running, the EPB can
not be used to reduce the car speed if it
is not necessary. The EPB only applies
brake force to the rear wheels, which is
likely to cause traffic accidents.
Release static park brake
– When the engine start/stop button is in the
“ON” position, depress the brake pedal.
– Press the EPB button. The button indicator
lamp and the indicator lamp in the instrument
cluster will go out, indicating that the EPB has
been released.
