Engine tachometer
The engine tachometer is used to indicate the
current engine speed, in x1000 r/min, minimum
scale 500 r/min, ranging from 0 r/min to 8000 r/min.
Caution
•
The red warning area (7000 r/min ~ 8000
r/min) on the speed dial means the
heavy-duty area of the car. Do not let
the car operate in this area. Doing so
can cause fuel cut-off due to engine
self-protection.
•
Damage to the engine probably occurs
if the tachometer reading is in the red
zone while the running-in period of the
car does not expire.
• Even if the running-in period has
expired, damage to the engine probably
occurs if the tachometer reading is in
the red zone.
Hint
Shifting into a higher gear timely helps save
fuel and reduce the engine running noise.
