The telephone functions D5 / FC5 Series
Optionally activating silent charging
This function serves to switch aural call signalling in the charging station off
and on again.
Prerequisite: Your handset is in the basic state (idle display).
[Star/Shift] / [R] key
 To toggle the softkey function, apply a long keystroke to the [Star/Shift] key
and then press the [R] key to activate or deactivate the function.
 Directly after confirming the function, the “Silent Charging On/Silent Charg-
ing Off” status is shown in the display of the terminal briefly (2-3 secs)
Rejecting a call
You handset rings

ISCONNECT

A keystroke on the
LEFT SOFTKEY
[Disconnect] rejects the call. The caller hears
the engaged tone.
The operation of a DoIP telephone exchange requires a different operating se-
quence.
 Keystroke on the
LEFT SOFTKEY
[Options], then
 Confirm the "Reject call" function by
RIGHT SOFTKEY
[OK].
