This command reports the values for each type of parameter related to the disk drive's physical
attributes, data format, timing for SCSI bus disconnect and reconnect processing, error
recovery procedures, etc., as well as the attributes of those parameters, to the INIT.
The functions of this command are the same as those of the Group 0 MODE SENSE command
(item 3.1.7) except that the format of data (MODE SENSE data) transferred to the INIT differs
somewhat.
Fig. 3.18 shows the data configuration of the parameter list (MODE SENSE data) transferred
to the INIT by this command. Compared to the 4-byte header in the case of a Group 0 MODE
SENSE command, an 8-byte header is transferred in this command. The meanings of each
field and bit in the header are the same as in the case of the Group 0 MODE SENSE
command, except that the byte positions differ. Also, the contents of the other parameters
(block descriptor and page descriptors) are the same as in the case of the Group 0 MODE
SENSE command.
