be linked even when Standby Mode setting is Off.
The connected devices can be controlled from this product.
(Control may be impossible, depending on the device.)
Connect each device to this product by IEEE1394 cable as
shown in the figure below and perform the operations
described below.

Connecting to STB and DTV
The signal from the STB or DTV is displayed as shown below.
Thereafter, follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
Connecting to AVHDD
The signal from the AVHDD is displayed as shown below.

listing was selected and the

Each operation can be performed by choosing and executing
the icons shown below. Depending on the device to be
connected (external equipment), an icon may not be displayed
or the device may be unusable even if an icon is displayed.
The following is an example of the display when a program
was chosen from the recording listing and the Play button was
pressed.
