Opening Saved Files
1 From the [FILE MENU] screen, use either [UP] or [DOWN] arrow key to highlight the [OPEN]
option.
2 Press the [SELECT] soft key to access the [OPEN FILE] screen. A list of saved files will be
displayed.
Note:
The [
>
] symbol next to the filename indicates the current file.
3 Use either [UP] or [DOWN] arrow key to highlight the desired file.
• You may press [UP], [DOWN], or [MORE/TOP] (if displayed) soft keys to scroll through the list
of saved files.
4 Once the desired file is highlighted, press the [SELECT] soft key to make it current.
Note:
You will need to make the desired file current to perform the following functions:
• Save test results to the desired file
• Transfer files to a PC
• Edit test identification parameters
Editing Test Identification Parameters
Once a new file is created and test identification parameters are set, they may be edited at any time.
Editing is done in the [EDIT FILE HEADER] screen. For details, refer to sections titled as follows:

Deleting Files
TURBOTEST 500B allows you to delete the selected file or all saved files at once. Perform the following
steps.
1 From the [FILE MENU] screen, use either [UP] or [DOWN] arrow key to highlight the [DELETE FILE]
option.
2 Press the [SELECT] soft key to access the [DELETE FILES] screen. A list of saved files will be
displayed.
3 Use either [UP] or [DOWN] arrow key to highlight the file to be deleted.
4 Press the [DEL] soft key to delete the selected file.
