Placing Sequences in the X2S 

The X2S expects to find FOXCAST sequence files inside of the “Sounds” folder in the X2S. If you 
are loading the sequence files manually, the first step is to connect the X2S to your computer. 
Browse to the X2S and open it up. Locate the “Sounds” folder. Copy your sequence files from 
wherever they are stored on your hard drive, into this folder (drag and drop). If you are using 
the online FOXCAST file generator, you can save the file directly from the website right into the 
“Sounds” folder in the X2S.

Creating FOXCAST Sequences Online 

A second, simpler option for creating sequences can be found on the FOXPRO website. The 
following address will direct you to the FOXPRO Online FOXCAST Sequence File Generator: 

http://www.gofoxpro.com/foxcast 

This easy to use site allows you to quickly assemble and download FOXCAST sequence files to 
your computer or directly to your FOXPRO game call.  The site has plenty of instructions to help 
get you started. Just remember to save the sequence files into the “Sounds” folder in the X2S.

Synchronizing the X2S Remote 

Before you can access your FOXCAST sequence files on the X2S remote, you must download a 
new copy of the sound list. To perform this, please see Section 11 in the section “Updating the 
X2S Remote Sound List”.

Firmware Updates 

The X2S digital game call and X2S remote both feature the ability to have firmware updates 
installed from home. It is crucial to determine which version of game call and remote you have 
prior to performing any of the update procedures.

X2S Digital Game Call  

The X2S digital game call features a USB port. Make sure you have the appropriate USB type A/B 
cable for connecting the X2S to a PC. This same cable can be used to connect the X2S remote to 
your PC as well.  

X2S digital game call versions 1.5 and higher do not require specific software to perform the 
update. Therefore, the update can be performed on virtually any modern computer with the 
appropriate USB port and an online connection.
