Table 5.1: Chassis Status and Temperature Information
This Field...
Displays...
Chassis Type
This field is new in software release FSX 04.3.00. It displays the chassis
type. For example:
•
FastIron SuperX
•
FastIron SX 800
•
FastIron SX 1600
•
ANR-FastIron SX 1600-PREM
ANR indicates that the chassis has Accoustic Noise Reduction. For more
information about the ANR chassis, see “FSX 1600 Chassis” on page 2-7.
-PREM indicates that the device is a premium device (supports full Layer 2
switching and full Layer 3 multiprotocol routing).
NOTE:
This field is empty if the device is running a software release prior
to 04.3.00.
Power
Power Supply
Indicates whether a power supply is installed in the specified power supply
slot and the status of the power supply, which can be one of the following:
•
OK – The power supply is functioning properly and supplying power to
the chassis and installed modules.
•
Failed – The power supply is not functioning and is not supplying
power to the chassis and installed modules.
Starting in software release 03.0.00, this field also indicates:
•
the manufacturing part number
•
whether the supply is AC or DC
•
whether the supply is regular or POE.
On the FSX and FSX 800, Power Supply 1 is the left-most slot, and Power
Supply 4 is the right-most slot. These numbers assume you are facing the
front of the chassis, not the rear.
On the FSX 1600, Power Supply 1 is the top left-most slot, Power Supply 4
is the top right-most slot, Power Supply 5 is the bottom left-most slot, and
Power Supply 8 is the right-most slot. These numbers assume you are
facing the front of the chassis, not the rear.
