4.2
Opening the SDL elevator
1. Remove the safety pin assembly

.
2. Pull the handle
w
outside against the spring force.
This will force the latch mechanism to open

4.3
Closing the SDL elevator
1. Slam the door
q
.
2. Check that the lock has snapped into place.
3. Verify that the handle is in good position to position
the safety pin assembly.
4. Check and ensure that the elevator is properly closed.
There has to be no gap between pin and door.
» Now the elevator is closed.
