Brake fluid
WARNING
Do not allow brake fluid to contact
the skin or eyes. If this does
happen, rinse the affected area with
water.
CAUTION
Brake fluid will damage paintwork.
If splashed or spilt on a painted
surface, wash off immediately with water.
The level of the fluid must lie at the MAX
mark on the side of the reservoir. Add
only brake fluid that meets the Ford
specification.
Refer to the Fluid Specification section in
the Customer Assistance Warranty and
Service Guide.
Absolute hygiene must be observed
when topping up with brake fluid. Any
dirt entering the brake system may
cause loss of brake performance. Do not
expose brake fluid to the atmosphere
any longer than is necessary.
Clutch fluid
WARNING
Do not allow clutch fluid to contact
the skin or eyes. If this does
happen, rinse the affected area with
water.
CAUTION
Clutch fluid will damage paintwork.
If splashed or spilt on a painted
surface, wash off immediately with water.
The level of the fluid must lie at the MAX
mark on the side of the reservoir. Add
only clutch fluid that meets the Ford
specification.
Refer to the Fluid Specification section in
the Customer Assistance, Warranty and
Service Guide.
