25.12.1 Block user
The option to block the service user is only available if FDA 21CFR
Part 11 compliance is enabled.
If the service user is blocked, there is no way to recover the pump
if the administrator password is lost or locked due to failed
password attempts.
Block user
prevents a user from operating the pump. Only an administrator can
unblock.
The above screen is displayed if
l
The number of incorrect password attempts has exceeded the maximum
attempts.
l
Operator and supervisor—5 incorrect attempts.
l
Administrator—10 incorrect attempts.
l
The administrator has blocked the account.
Blocking or unblocking a user
Log in as the administrator. Refer to "Log in" on page 53.
On the settings menu, select 'Users'.
Select the desired user.
