Splitter Controls
Equalize
The “Equalize” button provides a single-click approach to creating an equal
splitting ratio between the selected ports. Select the number of ports and the
equalize button will calculate and immediately upload the required image to
achieve equal parts splitting.
Block
Used to block light going through all selected ports of the WaveShaper
Save Redo/Undo
The save button is disabled – you cannot save profiles created with the GUI.
Additionally due to the computationally-intensive nature of the power splitting
algorithm, Undo/Redo capability is not supported for power splitting.

Coupling Ratios
Settings
Used to define power splitting ratios to all or only some of the
available ports on the WaveShaper. Click on the 'Apply" button to
upload the required image to the WaveShaper.
The minimum per-port power level that can be set is 1%.
The sum of the total per-port percentages does not have
to equal 100%. This allows attenuation control on a per-
port basis.
The sum of active port percentages must be
≤
100%. If
the sum of active port percentages is larger than 100%,
then a warning is generated and the defined splitting
cannot be applied to the WaveShaper until the sum is
≤
100%.
