REMOVE
THE
AGP
VIDEO
BOARD
1.
Power off and open the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) as described in “To shut down the
Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)” on page 4-3 and “To open the
Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)” on page 4-4.
2.
Remove the board mounting bracket screw from slot 1.
3.
Remove the AGP video board from motherboard connector AGP1.
Grasp the board at the front and back edge and gently pull the board straight out of its
connector on the motherboard.
4.
Place the board in an antistatic bag.

AGP
VIDEO
BOARD
1.
Reseat the AGP video board in motherboard connector AGP1. The component side of the
board should be facing down towards the bottom of the tray.
When replacing the AGP video board, slide it straight into the board guides. As you plug
the board into AGP1, make sure that the board connectors are properly aligned with the
motherboard connector. The board connector is keyed to fit only one way on the
motherboard.
2.
Attach the board mounting bracket screw to the bracket in slot 1.
3.
Reassemble the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) and verify its functionality (see the
connection verification steps described in “Restoring Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)
functionality after service” on page 4-11).
