Preliminary on-site checkout
Preliminary on-site checkout
Your goal in the preliminary on-site checkout is to eliminate obvious problems such as
loose or missing cables and connectors, or loosely seated printed circuit boards.
Checking interface cables
Before you remove the side and front panel of the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) to check
internal components make sure that:
• All interface cables to the system are plugged into the proper connectors on the back
panel of the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) (see Figure 5-3).
• The power cable is plugged into the wall supply.
• The power switch on the back panel of the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) is powered
on.

If all the connectors are properly in place and the power is on, proceed to the next stage
of troubleshooting.
