ZIP drive

The ZIP drive is installed in the tray below the CD-ROM drive.

THE

DRIVE

Power off and open the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1), as described in “To shut down the
Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)” on page 4-3 and “To open the
Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)” on page 4-4.

Remove the front panel as described in “Removing the front panel” on page 4-6.

Remove the ZIP drive cable connected to the back of the ZIP drive.

Remove the power supply cable connected to the ZIP drive.

Cut any tie wraps that hold the power supply cable to the ZIP drive bracket.

Squeeze and hold the thumb clips on the sides of the ZIP drive and then slide the drive
out of the front of the tray.
