3.      Proportional  pressure  regulator

Festo    P.BE−MPA−ELECTRONIC−EN    en  0804NH

The  current  pressure  value  is  output  in  the  input  word. 
Bit  0  of  the  input  byte  is  also  used  as  a  comparator  bit,
which  directly  indicates  if  the  current  pressure  lies  within
the  control  range.

The  measured  values  for  current  pressure  are  smoothed
over  4  values  via  the  measured  value  smoothing.

After  3  million  switching  cycles,  the  condition  counter
sends  a  diagnostic  message  to  the  Fieldbus  node  of  FEC
(e.g.  for  maintenance  work).

In  this  example,  activation  of  the  limit  value  monitoring
and  the  specification  of  upper  and  lower  limit  values  li
mits  the  set  pressure  value  of  the  VPPM/MPA  to  3.8  ..  4.2.
If  the  pressure  value  in  the  output  word  lies  below  3.8  bar
or  above  4.2  bar  the  red  LED  lights  up  and  a  diagnostic
message  is  sent  to  the  Fieldbus  node  or  FEC.
