Malfunctioning will occur if the device is not used correctly.

Make sure that the specifications in this chapter are always observed.

Take into account the warnings and instructions on the product and in the
relevant operating instructions.

Compare the maximum values specified in these operating instructions with
your actual application (e.g. forces, torques, temperatures, masses).
Only if the loading limits are observed can the product be operated in accord
ance with the relevant safety guidelines.

Observe the ambient conditions at your
location.
Corrosive environments reduce the
service life of the product (e.g. ozone).

Observe also the standards specified in
the relevant chapters, as well as national
and local laws and technical regulations.

Remove the packing such as foils, protective caps, cardboard and protective
wax.
The packing is intended for recycling (except for: oiled paper which must be
disposed of ).

Use the DGEA−... in its original state without undertaking any modifications.
S
Avoid damaging the DGEA−... or getting it excessivley dirty.
Otherwise damage might occur to the toothed belt. This will impair operational
safety and reliable functioning and reduce the service life of the DGEA−... .

Apply current to the drive motor at first
at low speed and with low torques.
You will then avoid uncontrolled
movements.
