Uncontrolled moving masses can cause injury to people or damage to objects.

Make sure that:
nobody can place his/her hand in the path of the moving load
(e.g. by means of a protective screen).
there are no objects within the positioning path of the axis.
It must not be possible to touch the DGEA−...until the mass has come to a
complete stand.

If there is a power cut or if the toothed belt breaks, the
moveable mass will slide down. Uncontrolled moving
masses can cause injury to people (squashed fingers) or
damage to objects.

Make sure that the DGEA−... is driven only by motors
with integrated spring−loaded holding brake.

Check whether additional external safety measures
are necessary in order to prevent damage in the event
of a fracture of the toothed belt (e.g. toothed latches
or moving bolts).
In this way you can prevent the moveable mass from
sliding down.
These brakes are not suitable for braking masses in movement (they are subject to
wear). They hold masses at a stand securely in position.

Avoid the article coming into contact with the following:
coolant with corrosive effect
grinding dust
glowing sparks or chips
water−soluble oils and greases.
These can damage or destroy the DGEA−... .
