2 F u n c tion
The rotary movement of a servo or stepping
motor is converted by a toothed belt, which is
fixed on both sides, into a linear movement.
The toothed belt moves the profile tubing
backwards and forwards.
3 A ppli ca tion
The DGEA−... has been designed for the accurate positioning of masses.
The DGEA−... is permitted for use in cantilever axis operation (preferably in a
vertical mounting position).
The DGEA−... is not permitted for application conditions in which vegetable and
water−soluble greases or oils can penetrate into the axis. Vegetable greases or oils
can reduce the capacity of the toothed belt.

Take into account the weight of the DGEA.
Depending on the design the DGEA−... can
weigh over 30 kg.

Ensure storage conditions as follows:
short storage periods
cool, dry, shaded storage locations
protected from corrosion
no oils, greases or fat−solvent fumes.
With DGEA−40−...− G ... (with right−angle gear unit):

If high dynamic loadings in the Z−direction
affect the DGEA−... , the motor should be
provided with additional support.
