the ball camera on a side-view mirror assembly. The
camera should be positioned so that the driver can obtain
a wide, unobstructed field of vision.
Preparing to Install the Ball Camera
To prepare to install the camera:
1.
Open the included camera mounting hardware kit, which
has:
• two self-tapping screws
• two machine screws with matching lock washers, flat
washers, and nuts
• an insulating pad
• an Allen
®
wrench (for adjusting the orientation of the
camera in the housing)
• waterproofing tape

Before the installation, connect the camera to the monitor
and turn on the system to verify the camera orientation.
3.
For access to the bottom half of the mounting bracket
where the mounting screws enter, use the included Allen
wrench to remove the two screws and nuts on both sides
of the camera mounting bracket. See Figure 4.
