Unscrew the hose clamps on the fuel pre-

filter.

Pull the hoses off the fuel pre-filter.

Install the new fuel pre-filter and observe

the flow direction (arrow).

Unscrew the drain plug and collect the

escaping fuel.

Unscrew the filter.

Remove any dirt from the sealing face of

the filter carrier.

NOTICE!

Danger of engine damage!

– Never fill filters beforehand,

to avoid the entry of dirt into

the clean side.

Spread a thin layer of fuel on the sealing

surface of the new filter and attach the

filter.
