driver/operator; the manufacturer cannot be
held liable.
Examples of improper use are:

Work with vibration on hard concrete, cured
bitumen layers or extremely frozen ground
n
cleaning the drums while driving or changing
nozzles during travel
n
Driving on non-load-bearing ground
n
Driving on slippery surfaces (e.g. ice and
snow)
n
Driving on surfaces of insufficient size
(danger of turning over)
n
Driving over edges which are too high (e.g.
kerbs, verges, trenches, pot holes)
n
unauthorized use of public roads
n
Using the machine for towing
Transporting persons, except the machine
driver, is prohibited.
Starting and operating the machine in explo-
sive environments and in underground mining
is prohibited.
3.1.6 Estimated service life of the machine
If the following general conditions are met, the
service life of the machine is usually in the
range of several thousand operating hours:

Regular safety inspections by an expert /
qualified person
n
Performance of the prescribed maintenance
work within the specified time
n
Immediate performance of necessary repair
work
n
Exclusive use of original spare parts
