D.3. Seeding Preparation and Adjustments List
Many parts and mechanisms on your grain drill
have travelling and working position.
In order to avoid any deficiency during operation, the
procedures to be implemented from connecting the
equipment with tractor to seeding are listed
respectively.
1. Step:
Switch the tow bar of the grain drill
to working position.
2. Step:
Make the mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and
tracking connections of the grain drill and tractor.
3. Step:
Fill your grain drill with the seed to be
planted and/or fertilizer.
4. Step:
Adjust the spread amount (seeding norm)
after adjusting the hopper, slide cover and gears.
5. Step:
Switch the markers to travelling position.
6. Step:
Disable the wheel drive lock.
7. Step:
Switch the coulters to travelling position.
8. Step:
Go to the field to be cultivated.
9. Step:
Take the coulters out of travelling position and
adjust the depth and pressure wheel height.
10. Step:
Switch the marker arms and discs to working
position.
11. Step:
Enable the wheel drive lock and start
seeding.
Once the seeding is completed, finish the operation
by implementing the procedure steps above in
reverse order.
