Note - 1 : Seed and fertilizer flow to the desired hoppers can be disabled by switching the slide cover to closed position.
Slide covers are adjusted as follows;
a row spacing of 25 cm when in 1 open and 1 closed state,
a row spacing of 37.5 cm in 1 open 2 closed state, 1
a row spacing of 50 cm in 3 open state.
Important: Ensure that all the slide covers are aligned
after the adjustment. Irregular adjustment of the slide
covers will cause deviations in seed spreading amounts
between the coulters.
Important : The working width of the machine should
be taken into account when adjusting the row spacing.
The adjustment must be symmetrical to the machine
center.
• 1. Position (small spacing):
It is preferred in
spreading the seeds with smooth form and high fluidity
such as canola, vetch and sesame. Seed flow at a low
flow rate is provided to the seed cell and sheave (gear)
when the slide cover is in this position. This controlled
flow prevents the occurrence of the negativities such as
seed crushing between the throttle and gear.

In fertilizer hoppers, 1

position is preferred when fertilizers
at an amount of 30 kg or below per hectare will be
delivered such as trace elements in micro granular and piril
form.
• 2. Position (medium spacing):
It is used in planting of
the medium-size seeds such as wheat, barley without
awn and common vetch. When the slide cover is pulled
upwards in closed position, the 2
nd stop corresponds to
this position. 2

position is the standard adjustment to be
used while 3 rd position should be preferred in humid or
flocculated fertilizers. Once this position is applied,
fertilizer reaches a higher flow rare and the blockages
due to physical form are prevented.
In fertilizer hoppers, 2
nd
position is preferred for the delivery
of the fertilizers with high fluidity such as urea, ammonium
nitrate and etc., and having small particle size such as 20-
20 and 18-46 type of fertilizers.
• 3. Position (large spacing):
It is used in planting
of the seeds with fluidity and coarse seeds such as
oat and barley with awn.
In fertilizer hoppers, 3 rd position is preferred for the
composed fertilizers such as 18-46 and 20-20 with
coarse particles and the fertilizers that are coarse and
with low fluidity such as organomineral in pellet form
