18.
Be careful and slow down when towing heavy load and only use a tow hook in towing.
Towing must be carried out by using central suspension and side drawbar if an appropriate
coupling arrangement does not exist. Failure to do so may impair the center of gravity of
tractor and lead to rearing/front lifting.
19.
Additional weight has to be attached on the rear wheels and drawbars when a front-
end-loader is fitted to the tractor.
20.
Before leaving the operator seat, the gear must be shifted to neutral, the power take-
off and pulley control lever must be disengaged and the engine must be stopped by
pulling the parking brake. In addition, the ignition switch must be removed even the
tractor will be left in a place temporarily.
21.
The fuel tank must not be fully filled when working under the sun in very hot
weathers. The fuel expanded with heat may overload. In such an overload, the leaked
fuel must be cleaned as soon as possible.
22.
Tractor fuel may be dangerous. Fuel must not be delivered (filling
– draining) when
the tractor is moving, when there is an open flame or ignition and when smoking. A fire
extinguisher must be kept at an easily accessible place.
23.
It must be ensured that the circuit is not under pressure before removing the
hydraulic pipes. The oil under pressure may have high temperature and kinetic energy.
In order to avoid severe injuries, shield, protective goggles and gloves must be used
when searching for leakages.
24.
Never attempt to operate the tractor and/or to maneuver without sitting in the
operator’s seat.
25.
Operator must check whether protective devices are in place and secured before
starting to work on the agricultural equipment and machine together with tractor.
26.
Adjustment of the tractor brakes must be checked frequently.
27.
Agricultural equipment and machines suitable for the power and weight of the tractor must
be used.
28.
Operator must push the clutch and disengage the clutch if rearing and front lifting
occurs when working with tractor. The problem must be eliminated by finding its source.
29.
Tractor must be used with greater attention in an inclined field and the front and
rear wheel weights must be attached as intended when working under such conditions.
30.
When working laterally on an inclined field, the tractor’s track width must be
increased, operating speed must be decreased and attention must be paid to pits,
ditches and rough terrains to avoid roll-over.
31.
Before starting the engine, it must be observed that gear and power take-off levers
are in neutral even safe starter switch is mounted on the tractor.
