C.1.2.2.b. Throttle Adjustment
Throttles are adjusted in following procedure
steps:
Note:
It is recommended to fill the box with seed and/or
fertilizer to be used by 50% before the adjustment.
Throttle Adjustment arm and Throttle Adjustment Scale
1. Step:
Throttle arm is switched to the position
prescribed for the seed type to be used (e.g. B for
wheat).
2. Step:
Motion wheel is rotated until seed flow
begins.
3. Step:
When seed flow begins, the distance between
the “
throttle and gear
” and the way of seed flow are
checked.
4. Step:
The distance between the throttle and gear
is adjusted accordingly by using the throttle arm.
The throttle arm is loosened by one step if seeds are
jammed.
If seeds flow very comfortably or flow does not stop
although gear stops, the throttle arm is tightened by
one step.
