Warning Messages
The following table lists variables that can be included in the scan report,
in other words the variables that can be used in the warning message
between $REPORT-BEGIN and $REPORT-END.
A.3 Virus Outbreak Notification Messages
The following table lists variables that can be included in the virus
outbreak notification message subject line and in the virus outbreak
notification message.
Variable Description
$AFFECTED-FILENAME The name of the original file or attachment.
$AFFECTED-FILESIZE The size of the original file or attachment.
$THREAT The name of the threat that was found in the
content.
$TAKEN-ACTION The action that was taken to remove the
threat.
$QUARANTINE-ID The quarantine ID of a quarantined
message.
Variable Description
$TIME-INTERVAL virus outbreak probing time interval in "X
hours Y minutes" format.
$THREATS-LIMIT the number of virus threats to be found
within detection interval to activate the virus
outbreak trigger.
$THREATS-FOUND the actual number of virus threats found
within the probing time interval.
