Files with these extensions are checked for
viruses when the
Scan for Viruses setting is
set to All Attachments with Included
Extensions .
Excluded extensions Specify a space-separated list of the file
extensions that are excluded from scanning.
Files with these extensions are not checked
for viruses when the
Scan for Viruses setting
is set to All Attachments except Excluded
Extensions .
Action on infected
messages Specify what should be done to messages
that contain malicious code.
Drop Attachment - Remove the infected
attachment from the message. If the
Quarantine Infected Attachments setting is
enabled, the infected attachment is placed
into the Quarantine folder.
Disinfect Attachment - Disinfect the
attachment and reattach it to the message. If
the attachment cannot be disinfected, it is
dropped. If the
Quarantine Infected
Attachments setting is enabled, the infected
attachment is placed into the Quarantine
folder.
Stop the Whole Message - Stop the whole
message with the infected attachment.
Quarantine infected
attachments Select whether infected attachments should
be quarantined. Quarantined files are placed
in the quarantine folder. This setting works
together with the previous setting:
