OPERATION
PREPARING THE UNIT
Unpacking and completing the assembly should
be done on a flat and stable surface, with enough
space for moving the machine and its packaging,
always making use of suitable equipment.
NOTE
The installed electric motor is completely wired
ready for operation. The customer‘s connection
to the power supply system, and any extension
cables that may be used, must conform with local
regulations. Check electrical connection cables
regularly for damage. Make sure the cable is dis -
connected from the mains when checking. Electri -
cal connection cables must comply with the regu -
lations applicable in your country.

The mains voltage must coincide with the voltage
specified on the motor’s rating plate.

Dimension cables up to a length of 25m must have
a cross-section of 1,5mm

and beyond 25m at least
2,5mm

The connection to the mains must be protected
with an appropriate slow acting fuse.
WARNING
Connect the machine only to a socket with the prop -
erly installed ground contact.
Auxiliary handle assembly (Fig. 2)
Position the Auxiliary handle assembly on the
sleeve of the machine and rotate its handle to
firmly tighten the assembly in place.
Tool assembly (Fig. 3)
Add some grease on the tool’s assembly point
and push it into the chuck, rotating it if needed,
until it locks in position with a click sound.
Tool disassembly (Fig. 4)
Press the chuck in to unlock the tool and pull the
tool out to remove it from the chuck.
OPERATING THE UNIT
WARNING
Do not engage the operation switch, while changing
between different operation modes.
Starting the unit (Fig. 5)
To start the unit, press the operation switch
in. The speed of the machine is also managed
by the level of engagement on the operation
switch, with maximum speed meaning full en -
gagement.
Stopping the unit (Fig. 6)
To stop the unit, fully disengage the operation
switch.
Hammer drill mode (Fig. 7)
To set the unit at hammer drill mode, rotate the
mode selection knob (Fig. 1.2) accordingly to the
position shown in Fig. 7.
Chisel tool adjustment (Fig. 8)
To adjust the angle of the tip of the chisel tool, set
the unit at chisel tool adjustment mode by rotating
the mode selection knob accordingly to the posi -
tion shown in Fig. 8. Engage the operation switch
to rotate the chisel tool to desired angle.
Chiseling mode (Fig. 9)
To set the unit at chiseling mode, rotate the mode
selection knob accordingly to the position shown in
Fig. 9.
Positioning the work piece
As a general rule, use a vice or another suitable
clamping device to secure a small work piece in po -
sition. Never hold the work piece in place with your
hand. Ensure that the work piece cannot rotate.
This is best achieved by placing the work piece /ma -
chine vice on a sturdy block.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Every six months to one year (depending on fre -
quency and intensity of use), take your machine to
