THANKS
Many thanks for choosing this EUROM petrol generator. You have made a very good choice! We hope
that you will be completely satisfied with the product.
In order to get the very best from your petrol generator, we advise you to read these instructions
carefully before using for the first time. Pay particular attention to the safety warnings. A failure to follow
these could lead to serious damage and/or injury.
This leaflet must be retained for future reference and must be provided with the generator if you sell it.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
Only use the generator outdoors; the exhaust gases contain toxic carbon monoxide! If indoor use is
unavoidable, make sure that you have plenty of space with good ventilation and that any exhaust
gases are emitted outdoors.
This generator incorporates a petrol engine; use Euro 95 or Euro 98 petrol. Always stop the engine
before filling up with fuel and ensure naked flames are not in the vicinity (even cigarettes) during this
process. Avoid spillages and remove all spilt petrol with a clean cloth before starting the generator.
This generator is not waterproof. To avoid short-circuits or electric shocks, make sure the generator
is not used in wet conditions (rain/snow/mist); do not use it with wet hands and prevent it coming into
contact with water. The generator must be earthed at all times; to this end, attach a conductive wire
between the earthing point on the generator and an approved earthing pin.
Keep the generator at least one metre from any flammable explosives or substances/objects; the
exhaust will get very hot during operation and this could lead to combustion!
Prevent a power exchange between the generator and the mains. Have any connection between the
generator and your household mains installed by a professional and make sure that the regular
power supply is switched off when the generator is on.
Never touch the outlet during or shortly after the generator has been in use. It will get extremely hot!
Never draw power from the generator before it is switched on.
Ensure that anyone who uses the generator knows how it works and how to stop it quickly.
During use wear protective shoes and clothing.
Keep children and pets out of the vicinity of the generator.
