Draining the living area battery
Even when the Truma Combi or water pump is switched off, a few milliamperes of current
will be constantly drawn from the living area battery.

Switch the main switch on the on-board control off for longer periods of absence
(see section “11.5 On-board control”).

Before putting the Truma Combi heater into operation, observe the separate operating manual supplied
by the device manufacturer.

When first operating the diesel-powered Truma Combi heating systems or if the tank is empty, multiple
startups of the heater are generally required to fill the fuel lines.
12.1.1 Heating and water heating
1. Remove the chimney cover and check that the chimney is not obstructed. The chimney is located in the left-hand
side of the vehicle.
2. Close the side window at the seat bench. There is a switch located at the side window which shuts down the heater
if the window is not completely closed.
3. Fill the water system before preparing hot water (see sections “10.2 Filling the fresh water tank” and “10.3 Filling the
water system”).
4. Set the operating mode on the control panel.
To set the respective modes for heating/hot water heating, see the sections 12.1.2, 12.1.3 or 12.1.4.
