Vehicle seat: Backrest adjustment

Turn the handwheel (Fig. 1, item 4) backwards or forwards to adjust the backrest backwards or forwards.
Vehicle seat: Armrest adjustment
1.
To move up the armrest, swivel up with light pressure.
2.
Use rotary unit (Fig. 1, item 3) to set the armrest height.

Seat heating (optional accessory)
Depending on the model, seat heating is available as an optional accessory.
DANGER!
Risk of fire and injury
Improper use of the seat heating can lead to a risk of fire and injury.

Only operate the seat heating when a person is in the seat.
)
The person must be able to feel and react to temperatures.
)
Only use the seat heating under supervision.
)
Avoid inadvertent activation of the seat heating.
)
In the case of unusual odour development or uneven heat distribution, switch the seat heating off
immediately and go to a specialist workshop.
CAUTION!
Damage to the seat heating
Improper use can cause damage to the seat heating.
)
The seat heating must not come into contact with pointed objects.
)
Do not transport or place pointed or heavy objects on the seat.
)
Avoid excessive weight or placing heavy objects on the seat.
)
Do not cover the seat with insulating material (including blankets, jackets, cushions, pouches, bags,
retrofit seat mats, child seats, seat boosters, protective covers, etc.).
)
Do not expose the seat heating to excessive moisture.
Small amounts of the following liquids do not impair the seat heating after completely drying off:
Sweat, beverages (e.g. coffee, cola, mineral water, etc.), salt water (5 % solution), ammonia-contain-
ing cleaners (10 % volume), alcohol-containing cleaners (10 % volume), plastic or vinyl cleaners and
soap water.
Excessive contact with the a.m. liquids can lead to a shortened service life.

Do not operate the seat heating if the surface or internal components are damp or wet.
)
Do not use the seat heating with wet or damp clothing.
)
Do not use the seat heating to dry clothes or objects.
