6.3.1 General notes on the awning
The following points should be remembered when using the canvas blind:

Do not place the canvas blind on the weather side.
)
Do not pull the canvas of the blind too tightly, but only just straighten it.
)
Keep oil and grease away from the canvas fabric.
)
Prevent water from accumulating.
)
Never move the vehicle while the canvas blind is extended.
)
Thoroughly clean the canvas blind and allow it to dry when intending not to use it for a prolonged period of time.
Also lightly grease its mechanical parts.
NOTE!

Always wait until the awning is completely dry before storing it to avoid potential mould and staining
(see section “18.7 Cleaning and care of the awning”).
6.3.2 Extending and retracting the canvas blind
CAUTION!
Risk of damage to the sliding door!
If the awning is mounted to the roof, there is a risk of collision with the sliding door.

Close the sliding door before extending or retracting the awning!

Once the canvas blind has been extended by approx. 1 meter or more, it must be supported using the
built-in support legs for the canvas blind!
)
When extending the sun awning and using the support feet, make sure that they are always at right
angles to the ground!

The crank is located in the rear of the vehicle.
