4.11 Electrically operated entrance step – entrance door (optional accessory)
DANGER!
Danger of accident and injury
If the main switch on the on-board control is switched off, the electrically operated entrance step will not
work and will remain in the final position. There is thus a risk of falling when leaving the vehicle through
the entrance door or the sliding door. When driving, an entrance step that has not been retracted may
cause an accident or damage the vehicle.

If the main switch is switched off, take care when exiting the vehicle through the entrance door or
sliding door.

Do not use the entrance step when it is retracted or not fully extended.

Before setting off, make sure (e.g. by looking into the side mirror) that the electrically operated entrance
step is completely retracted.
Retracting and extending the electrically operated
entrance step
1. To extend the entrance step, operate the sensor field
(Fig. 3, item 1).
2. To retract the entrance step, operate the sensor field
(Fig. 3, item 2).

4.12 Electrical vehicle lighting
Before commencing any journey, it is advisable to check all lights on the inside and outside of the vehicle to ensure they
work properly, and immediately replace any defective bulbs.
Familiarise yourself with changing individual bulbs and the associated procedures beforehand.
4.13 Obtaining replacement keys
Should you ever need to obtain replacement keys for your vehicle, make sure to have the following information available:
