Display parameters and settings can be viewed and adjusted in this section.
Every touchscreen display has a unique Serial Number (SN). The display firmware (FW) and hardware (HW)
versions are also shown. Display firmware updates may be done throughout the life of the machine to add new
features. The hardware version will never change.
Backlight:
With Auto Backlight ON, the backlight slider is disabled, and display brightness is scaled to match ambient light
conditions. With Auto Backlight OFF, the slider is enabled, and display brightness is set by the slider position. The
brightness of the LEDs across the control panels scale with their corresponding display’s brightness.
Touch Point:
The transparent yellow circle that indicates a touch point throughout this manual can be shown or hidden on the
display with the Touch Point control. Its size can be adjusted up or down. A size of 1000 is default.
Screen Saver:
Screen Saver Delay sets the time the display goes into its screen saver after not registering a touch point. You
can exit the screen saver by tapping anywhere on the display.
Voltage / Temp:
Battery voltage supplied to the display is shown along with internal display temperatures. These should not
exceed 185 °F (85 °C). The touchscreen displays tend to feel hot under direct sunlight and/or long periods of
operation.
