If the other device is an older
model, your Pocket PC may not be
able to detect it. Tap “Receive an
infrared beam,” on the lower left
side of the screen shown on the step
2. Follow the screen instructions.

Use
File Explorer
to manage the
files in the two devices. On the
Pocket PC, tap , Programs ,
and then File Explorer . Tap and
hold the file name to be copied and
then tap “Beam File” on the pop-up
menu.

Using Contacts
Tap and then Contacts . Tap
and hold on any name. Tap Beam
Contact on the pop-up menu to
transmit data to other devices with
infrared ports.
Other programs such as
Calendar
,
Notes , Tasks , Pocket Word ,
Pocket Excel , etc. also support the
“Beam” function.
