If you determine that a noise is originating from a specific SafeStop device:
1. Remove the small cover below the red latch
2. Loosen the set screw that holds the SafeStop device stationary on the hoist.
With this set screw loose, you can use a dead blow hammer or your hands to slightly shift the
device in the appropriate direction.

With the cover now removed, you should be able to view the fleet angle of the lift lines. Use the
images below to determine in which direction you should shift the SafeStop device.
If the lift lines are angled away from the brake bump on the SafeStop device, shift the device
slightly to the left. If they are angled toward the brake bump, shift the device slightly to the
right.
When you have adjusted accordingly, tighten the set screw and replace cover that you removed.
