10 Electrical connections
Electrical connection must only be made by
qualified specialist personnel
The electrical installation must only be performed
by specialist personnel with the corresponding
qualifications.
Requirements
Observe the regulations and special regulations of
local energy utilities.
For full separation according to the setup require-
ments, a separating device of overvoltage
category III must be installed in the permanent
electrical installation. In most cases, these require-
ments are fulfilled with a circuit breaker, for example.
For speed-controlled pumps (controlled via PWM
signal), the maximum cable lengths of the pump
manufacturer must be observed.
Potential equalization is needed for the boiler
The boiler must be connected to the potential equaliza-
tion of the boiler room or the building. Country-specific
regulations must be observed.
The ground fault interrupter must be suitable for
frequency converters.
If an RCD type B ground fault interrupter (GFI)
for all currents is used, it must be suitable for
frequency converters. An unsuitable ground fault inter-
rupter may not activate immediately or at all under
certain conditions.

Electric shock
There are live parts on the circuit boards. If
touched, they can cause injury and
property damage.
Before beginning any work, isolate the system
completely from all power sources, ensure that it
cannot be switched back on, and verify that it is
safely isolated from supply.
CAUTION!
Flexible stranded conductors
If flexible stranded conductors are not used for the
wiring, the contacts in the plug connections will be
subjected to excessive mechanical strain. In this case,
the warranty for the electronics would become null and
void.
Only flexible stranded conductors may be used for
the wiring.

The maximum line length for the electrical
connection of the temperature sensor is 20 m.
