Take out the 4 screws (CP(W) M4 x 10) holding the CR motor assembly, then remove 
the CR motor assembly.

4.2.3.8  Remove the PF Motor Assembly

Carry out “L Side Cover Removal.”

Carry out “Read Cover Removal.”

3.

Disconnect the PF motor connector from the main board, then release the clamp on the 
inside of the L side frame as necessary, disconnect the PF motor assembly’s connector 
cable and take it out through the hole in the L side frame.

Release the clamp on the outside of the left side frame, then remove the PF motor 
harness.

C A U T I O N

During assembly, move the carriage by hand to the left and right and 
make sure that the CR timing belt is attached uniformly in the center 
of the pulley.
