4.2.18 PF Roller removal
1.
Remove the Housing from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.1 “Housing removal”)
2.
Remove the CR unit from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.5 “CR Unit removal”)
3.
Remove the Housing lower cover from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.3 “Housing Lower
Covers removal”)
4.
Remove the Cutter Unit from the printer body. (Refer to 4.2.13 “Cutter Unit
removal”)
5.
Remove the Circuit board from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.14 “Circuit Board Unit
removal”)
6.
Remove the Paper eject roller from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.17 “Paper Eject Roller
removal”)
7.
Disengage the hook located at the right side of the Paper Guide Front, and slide the
Paper Guide Front to the left.

8.
Release the PF Grounding Spring at the left side of the Paper Guide Front from the
Main Frame, and lift the left side of the Paper Guide Front and remove it.

9.
Unlock the Paper Guide Top from the Main Frame by pushing the projection on
the Paper Guide Top with a small screwdriver, and remove the Paper Guide Top.

T
When removing the Paper Guide Top, insert an OHP sheet
between the PF Roller and the Paper Guide Top beforehand.
Flawing the PF Roller will adversely affect paper feed accuracy.
