EPLACEMENT
Using its internal SVD circuit, the S5U1C88348T checks the power supply voltage when initialization
begins and while power is on. If battery levels are low, a message will prompt you to replace the batter-
ies. It is recommended that you do so immediately.
When batteries are replaced, all entered data and user settings are cleared.
Checking the voltage at the start of initialization
When started by placing the batteries or by pressing the [RESET] switch, the system immediately
begins initialization, performing an SVD check first.
If the power supply voltage is too low, the following message is displayed.
Display:
SHORTAGE OF BATTERY
Change it and Reset
Once this message is displayed, the system will not perform any processing or accept any key input
other than the [Reset] switch.
Checking voltage during power-on
While power is on, the system checks the voltage every second (every four seconds for SVD checks).
When a voltage drop is detected, the system displays the following message for three seconds before
powering down.
