Loosen the oiling port plug (2, Fig3131-
20017SM) and observe the oil level;
If oil level is aligning with lower level of oiling
port, it indicates that the oil level is normal;
If the oil level is below the lower level of oiling
port, it is necessary to add gear oil.
Check the drive axle oil level

Loosen the oil drain plug (1), drain the gear
oil within the gearbox;
Remount the oil drain plug, and add the gear
oil of same specification with tubing through
oiling port:
gear oil specification: 85W-90GL-5
Gear oil filling amount: 0.5 L
Add / Replace Drive Axle Oil
5.4.4 Faults and Causes

Fault Drive Axle Abnormal Noise
Cause
a. Supporting bearing wear;
b. Gear wear, the gap is too big;
c. Foreign objects in gear oil.

Fault Drive Axle Oil Leaks
Cause Oil seal wear or aged

Fault Drive Axle Stuck
Cause
a. Drive Axle fastening screws or
nuts loosening;
b. Support bearing damage
c. Foreign objects in gear oil.
