This section provides detailed instructions on how to place
a variety of air-to-ground voice calls.

Calling to North America

To place a voice call from air-to-ground to
North America:

1. Listen for dial tone before placing a call; it indicates

that the system is ready.

2. Dial

3. Dial

(the country code for North America).

4. Dial the area code, and then the telephone number.

5. Press

Land Earth Station (LES) and connecting to the PSTN;
