Audit log
The Daniel 3410 Gas Ultrasonic Flow Meters stores an audit log record whenever any parameter
affecting the flow measurement is modified. The audit log record indicates which data point
changed, the date and time of the change, and both the ‘as-found’ and ‘as-left’ values.
The meter can store up to 3000 audit records. The user can select whether old, unread records
can be overwritten by new records when the log becomes full via the data point
DoOverwriteUnreadAuditLog
. This point can be modified using the Daniel MeterLink
Tools|Edit/Compare Configuration screen
. The default is to overwrite old, unread records. Refer
to
“Options for reading audit, alarm, and/or system log records”
for information on reading
records and marking records as read. The data point
IsAuditLogFull
indicates whether or not the
audit log is full and cannot overwrite old, unread records.
The data points monitored and collected for the audit log are as shown in
Table 6-3

below. The points are grouped and, within each group, are listed alphabetically.
