– the scale will display a message “Save price to PLU”;
Press the key
to store the new item unit price to the PLU memory of the scale; the scale will return
to Main Mode. To abort saving the new unit price to the PLU memory of the scale, press the key
instead of pressing the key

The function of saving unit price changes to the PLU memory of the scale can be disabled by the system
administrator.
2.9.3 Date
The scale has a built-in real-time clock. Date and time values can be printed on labels and used to calculate
item expiration date by the preset item shelf life. Do not fail to program current time and date values.
To enter Date Program Mode, press a corresponding quick access key (contact the system administrator) – the
scale will return the current date value in the second line of the display as in
Illustration 16
below:
To enter a new date value, use the numeric keys

. Upon pressing a numeric key, the digit being edited
will be highlighted by the blinking cursor. To edit the next digit, press the key
. To complete setting a new date
value, press the key
. If the scale emits a long beep, the new date value is invalid (for example, the month value is
greater than “12”). To quit Date Program Mode without saving the changes, press the key
.
