The keyboard of Euro-500TE Handy is divid-
ed into three basic key groups — department
keys, numerical keys and function keys.
If there are two functions on a key, then you
can select the desired function accordingly: the
function denoted in the lower part of the key
is selected by single pressing of the appropriate

shown in figure 2.3: power adapter or other
power source (connector POWER–1), PC or
payment terminal (connector PC–2), digital
scales or bar-code scanner (connector SCAN/
SCALE–3), cash drawer (connector DRAW–4)
and external keyboard (connector PC–5).
