6.13 Quitting or Storing the System
Shut down the system as follows:
1
Unplug the power/data cable
coming from the USB converter
from the base of the GeoScan
handheld scanner.

Quit the GeoScan software.

Store the GeoScan handheld scanner and system components as
follows:
•
If using again soon , you can
rest the scanner safely on a
table like it is a telephone
handset.
This will protect the scanning
apertures from hard objects,
fingerprints, and dust.
•
If not using again that day ,
store it in its provided protective case.
