When you have the probe in position, press the scanner’s Probe
button.
The scanner will emit an
audible
beep tone.
You can also click Register Point on
the Register Subject dialog.
If the
Stability Trigger
is enabled,
the scanner will automatically mark
the point after the set time period.

Immediately after the fiducial point is scanned, pull the scanner
away from the probe and GSN to avoid
false markers .

Notice that the software will automatically advance through the
prompts for the fiducial points after each one is probed.
The scanner will emit an audible beep tone after the first two fiducial points but
a squawk tone after the third.

Verify that the software marked the same point that you probed
and that it did not skip a prompt.
