Immediately after the alignment sensor is scanned, pull the
scanner away from the probe and GSN to avoid
false markers
.

Notice that the software will automatically advance through the
prompts for the alignment sensors after each one is probed.
The scanner will emit an audible
beep
tone after the first three alignment
sensors but a
squawk
tone after the fourth.
If you did not hear an audible
beep
tone, but the scanner’s LED stripe is
blue
, the
sensor may not have been scanned.

Verify that the software marked the same point that you probed
and that it did not skip a prompt.

If the first, second, or third alignment sensor was incorrectly
marked, you have the opportunity to fix that one mark with the
Register Subject dialog.
Click the dialog’s
Back
button, then re-probe that sensor.

Continue following the prompts to ensure that you do not mislabel
any sensors.

After the last alignment sensor
has been probed, you will be
returned to the Alignment Probe
