This command displays or sets the egress queue weight for specified ports.

- A specific port or range of ports. (Range: 1-28, or

- Output queue buffer. (Range: low/normal/medium/high or
1/2/3/4)
weight
- The weight assigned to the specified egress queue, and
thereby to the corresponding traffic priorities. (Range: 1, 2, 4, 8)

When the Queuing Mode is set to weighted with the
qos mode
command
(
page 316
), the switch uses the Weighted Round Robin (WRR) algorithm to
determine the frequency at which it services each priority queue. The
traffic classes are mapped to one of the egress queues provided for each
port. You can assign a weight to each of these queues, and thereby to the
corresponding traffic priorities.
